Practicing/teaching membership is only $199 for per year for Liability Insurance for Massage Therapy/Therapists, Yoga Instructors/Teachers and other professions/modalities. Policy includes five components: $2 million per occurrence / $3 million annual aggregate for the coverages of Professional Liability (malpractice), Commercial General Liability (trip and fall etc.), Product/Completed Operations, and Personal and Advertising Injury. Damages to Premises Rented to You - $50,000. One membership policy covers you for all covered professions/modalities that you are qualified for except for esthsetitians which incurs an additional charge.

The policy also covers practitioners of: feldenkrais method, Alexander technique, ortho-bionomy, aromatherapy, feng shui, kinesiology, polarity, reflexology, reiki, dance, tai chi, qi gong, falun gong, breathwork, biofeedback, ear coning/candling, bioenergetics, and color, water, vibrational, and crystal therapy. The policy is underwritten by an insurance carrier which is listed in the A.M. Best book with an A rating.

The policy covers you wherever you work in all 50 states and US Territories. You are covered at the office, on site, seminar, convention, hotel, health spa, etc. everywhere in the US and its territories as long as you obey the local laws. Be sure you have the required license for the area you are working in. International coverage not available

It is also an Occurrence Form Policy so it covers any occurrence that happens within your coverage dates regardless of when the claim may be made. Coverage starts as soon as your application is processed.

Associate membership is available to anyone for $89 per year and while it does give access to the optional health plan it does not include the policy described above.
